Out with friends

SOTD: Lauren Babic's metal cover of "... Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears

I hung out with 2 friends I hadn't seen for over a year; one of them moved to Canada and the other I lost contact with since I'd joined my high school's full-time Running Start program. Before they showed up at my door, I was reviewing and rewriting my pre-calculus notes from my previous classes (and had planned to keep at it until the fall quarter officially began in about 2 weeks).

We walked around my neighborhood, they caught me up on school drama (not that there was a lot), personal stuff, and we messed around at Whatcom Falls for an hour or so. Apparently, a friend of mine got banned from Edaleen's over at Ferndale, WA, because she was making out in line (and also while paying... I didn't think anyone in real life did that). 

My dad pissed me off later that day, but that's nothing new. What is new, however, is that I made a new friend from my creative writing course (that I took over the summer)!! And I'm actually still messaging her :)
