 SOTD: The Sisters of Mercy - "Alice"

Today was a pretty low-stress day! I did a few hours of reading for my creative writing class in one of the library's study rooms, and added my post to the discussion board, PLUS 1 of the 2 required replies. 

I also did an hour or so of review for my German test tomorrow and made flashcards in the evening (43 of them! Hopefully I don't do too badly). My professor gave us a study guide, so I based all of my cards off of that (update: as of October 21st, he still has not graded it). 

It doesn't help that I'm still fighting off a sickness (slight coughing, sore throat, mild runny nose, possibly fatigue). 

Anyway, I applied for a job at Dairy Queen a little bit ago, and I seem to have been ghosted. I thought I did pretty well for what was my very first job interview ever (since both nursing homes I applied to rejected me), and the interviewer clearly liked talking to me. At one point, I got asked my best and worst qualities, and for my worst, I had answered that "I am pretty forgetful and a little clumsy in the beginning, but once I get going, tasks become muscle memory and I am a solid worker." To be fair, I was told that they weren't looking to hire minors, which I thought was dumb since the job title had "(16+)" (and I am 17), but alright. Fine.
