Reading for psych, lots of discussion boards
SOTD: Bauhaus - "Bite My Hip"
I have a lot of things to prepare for this week, academically.
I have a quiz in psychology that is due Tuesday and also an exam due Saturday for that same class (+ a discussion post and responses + 'must-watch' videos in Canvas), a German test on Wednesday, a discussion post due in creative writing 2 (as well as 5+ pages of a story due Thursday night), and I must read at least 50 pages of Judith Kitchen's "Short Takes: Brief Encounters with Contemporary Nonfiction" before this Friday. Busy, but absolutely doable.
I decided to focus on psychology since I have the best idea of what's going on, plus the study guide. At least I aced the quiz on my first attempt! And completed my discussion post for psych (as well as the responses) :DWhile not directly academic, I should also read a bit of the WA State Driver's Guide... I would like that license by January of 2026. Plus, I am registered for the SAT in mid-March (much later than everyone else my age, but I won't compare myself), and would like a valid ID before then.
I can already tell this is going to be a busy quarter... but I already made some new friends! So that's an up-side.
For German 3, the in-person course is going to be in Berlin, and as much as I want to go, my parents wouldn't like to shell out $7k-10k for their minor "daughter" to be away for 3 months (+ my high school graduation is 2 days before the group would return, and I have the SAT scheduled near the beginning of the trip, so I don't think I'd be able to go anyway). As sad as it is, I'm sure there'll be other opportunities.
