Pretty good day!!
SOTD: The Sisters of Mercy - "Marian (Version)"
Happy to report that today was much more productive than yesterday!! For psychology, I had finally finished reading chapter 3 (developmental psychology), and I also got my discussion post and responses out of the way, turned in the weekly assignment (this one being about parenting styles, and "distracted parenting"), and finally got 25/25 on an exam!
Though, I did skip German today because of a cold (the day the class finally got our tests back... and as such, I am still unaware of my score). I have a list of things to catch up on tomorrow for German, that being: putting verbs in the second position, adding "nicht" and "kein(e)," verb conjugation, and speaking in the 1st/2nd/3rd person. This reminds me that there's a book that my professor uploaded to Canvas, "English Grammar for Students of German."
I also cleaned up my desk to try and find my MP3 player... and I have had no luck. I want to find it so damn bad. It could have been a much more expensive loss, even if I am still incredibly annoyed. I wouldn't be surprised if one of my brothers ended up taking it because that MP3 player is the one thing I do NOT misplace.Anyway, when I went to go pick up my brothers from the bus stop (the youngest of which is 4 years old, and the school/bus driver will be concerned about him if he goes home "alone," even if he usually has a 6 year old and a 9 year old brother with him), I saw a black and white long-haired kitty. They're always on the porch of a house next to the bus stop (never seen them go inside), and I finally went up to pet them today... and their fur was terribly matted. They also looked sick. I wish I could do something about it. :(On a lighter note, I tried putting together a Halloween costume a little while in advance, and I think it looks pretty good, if a little empty? Bare? It needs more accessorizing for sure, but the corset belt I got doesn't quite go with it (makes it look cluttered). I ordered some face + body glitter, as well as some face gems. I also went to Spirit Halloween before this, and got some fake vampire teeth, fake blood, and lace fingerless gloves.
I've been experimenting with gothic makeup lately, and for someone who a month ago hadn't ever even touched foundation, I think I did pretty good. I have been trying to get more into the subculture, too, and found that I really love the music! I cannot stop playing The Sisters of Mercy's "First and Last and Always" (album).
