Stressed out
SOTD: Siouxsie and the Banshees - "Trophy"
I did a lot in the past 2 days (honestly too much, I'm dead tired). I've been meaning to post more frequently, but I'll try that again next week.
I have all of my initial discussion posts done, I finished my psychology notes + did both of the quizzes for the week (got 19/20 correct, 10 questions per quiz), and finally caught up on my reading. I also had my senior photos done yesterday, and just have to wait for them to get edited and eventually sent to me. I felt awkward a lot of the time, but I loosened up about halfway into it.
That said, I still have to do 6 total responses for the discussion boards across all my classes (all due tonight), write a short story for creative writing (750 word minimum) (also due tonight), submit my EVF for winter to continue doing Running Start, make an appointment to meet up with my high school counselor, apply for graduation in the college I'm taking my classes at, ice skating tomorrow with friends, a birthday party on Sunday (whose actual birthday was yesterday!! Happy birthday, E!!!!), look at universities and fill out the FAFSA, write at least 1 admissions essay (for WWU?) (not required, but my junior year wasn't the best, GPA-wise), submit my cap and gown order for graduation... stressful week. I had too many things to do this week. Also, it turns out that I would be the 2nd person in my family, ever, to get a high school diploma, and the 2nd to get secondary education. My mom has a nursing degree, and didn't graduate high school (she went to BTC for her GED or something equivalent), and one of my aunts has her high school diploma, and she went to college but never finished anything. Cool! I think?
I just have to remember to get through it. Nowhere to go except through it. Because the only other option is dying. And I don't really want to do that yet.
I also took my cat, Cruella, to get spayed. Someone will end up letting her outside on accident, but I do wish everyone else in this family tried as hard as I do when it comes to keeping her inside.
