Trip to WWU

 SOTD: Mephisto Walz - "Mephisto Waltz"

My mom took me to visit WWU's campus (a fall preview tour, or something), and it is an absolutely gorgeous campus. Now, maybe I think that because this is the only university I've ever seen in person (or in general), but I don't care. It's surrounded by so many trees, the air is great, the few people I talked to were kind... I regret only ever taking photos of the plants in a greenhouse (built in the 90s!) while touring the biology department. But, the plants are pretty cool.

I think my mom was more excited than I was. I was perfectly happy to learn of a pre-med club and a queer club (and I'm sure if I asked, I'd find a choir group or something), but my mom was actually energetic and talking to almost everyone. She got even more excited once she learned of a Christianity club (great for her! I don't really care about all that though). 

After that, I made my mom buy me a jacket from the community college I'm currently going to as a result of my Running Start program (why not?), and from Western (while we were there): a small stuffed animal (he's tiny, and he cost $11.94... he is NOT worth all that but he's cute, so it's alright) and 2 pens (both free).
