Academic comeback!! and other stuff

I haven't had much to update on, so... oops! It felt strange to blog when nothing important or monumental happened, so I didn't.

What was a little scary, however, happened on the third of this month. On my walk to the nearby community college, I got approached by some old guy with a thick accent (semi-important, I could barely understand him). He got very up-close and personal, and asked if I had a husband, what my name was... and something else I couldn't catch. Right after he put his arms around my shoulders I said I had to go to class and speed-walked over there. This is the only bad experience I've had walking there, and hopefully it won't happen again.

Over last weekend, I took Christmas photos with the mall Santa because my mom wanted me to, and it ended up being a thing with my whole family.

I got a decent amount of studying done before Monday, applied to 3 separate jobs at Starbucks, as well as WinCo (already rejected from WinCo for being too young; let's hope Starbucks pulls through). On Monday, I had a test in German, and I'm pretty confident about most of it, except one section. I won't know how I did until my transcript is updated. 

From Wednesday evening to Friday morning, I was at Great Wolf Lodge, and I don't know if it's just the fact that I'm getting older or if I've gotten bored, but it wasn't as much fun as usual. GWL has completely changed their MagiQuest thing (and I believe they got rid of ShadowQuest), they got rid of the (admittedly old) animatronics in favor of a new story on a screen (BORING! LAME!), and it just isn't as interesting anymore. At least the animatronics were charming.

I am finally on winter break!! And while I'm glad break has started, I am unbelievably bored. I am also so, SO drained and tired. I guess I could ask a few friends to call. I've just been cleaning up my room and getting into Twisted Wonderland (the game and the manga... the anime kind of bores me BUT I do enjoy seeing Riddle Rosehearts animated <3). 

AND, I need to get that senior presentation started ASAP!! It's terribly annoying, but it needs to be done if I want to graduate. I also may as well refresh myself on chemistry. I'm t
aking chem 2 in winter quarter, and I took chem 1 exactly a year ago... I ALSO finally cracked open my SAT prep-book that I paid an extra $35 for. 

I got my grades for fall quarter and I got all A's!!! 4.0!!!!! Academic comeback!!!!!!!! :D
